Ich bin Johannes Neumann, Jahrgang 1949, ich studierte von 1968 bis 1973 evangelische Theologie in Leipzig und Berlin, von 1975 bis 1979 Geschichte in Mainz und Hamburg, von 1985 bis 1989 Betriebswirtschaft in Hamburg. Von 1993 bis Juni 2019 war ich in Radebeul bei Dresden als selbständiger Steuerberater und Wirtschaftsprüfer tätig.

Als Hobby veröffentliche ich seit 1986 kleine Schriften über die Bibel und historische Themen. Aufgewachsen in der DDR als Sohn eines evangelischen Pfarrers und konfrontiert mit der atheistischen Ideologie des kommu­nisti­schen Staates, habe ich mich schon früh für Religion und Religionskritik interessiert.

Da mich die Aussagen der Theologen über die Entstehung der Bibel nicht überzeugten, habe ich die Bibel mit der antiken Literatur von Homer bis Ovid verglichen und so einen literarischen und historischen Zugang zu den Bibeltexten gefunden, ohne die christliche Mythologie bemühen zu müssen.
