Aber Jesu Botschaft der Versöhnung ist wichtig.
Diese Botschaft Jesu ist großartig, sie ist ein großartiges Kulturerbe der Menschheit.
Jesu Botschaft der Versöhnung hat es nicht verdient, in den Elfenbeintürmen der Theologen als museales Ausstellungsstück zu verkümmern.Die Jesus-Botschaft muss, im Gegensatz zu manchen Theologie-Professoren, den rauhen Wind der kritischen Wissenschaft, die kritischen Anfragen der Gegner des Christentums, nicht fürchten.
Die Botschaft Jesu ist radikal, und sie ist politisch. Sie braucht den frischen Wind der Kritik, um die Menschen immer wieder neu zu erreichen. Wenn die gesellschaftliche, die politische Botschaft Jesu von der Versöhnung ihrer politischen Dimension beraubt wird und als Religion gezähmt und eingehegt wird, verkümmert sie.
Wovor haben die Kirchen und die Theologen Angst, wenn sie die Erforschung der Bibel und der urchristliche Überlieferung in den theologischen Fakultäten und theologischen Fachbereichen monopolisieren? Warum dürfen nur Christen (und Juden) die Bibel wissenschaftlich erforschen?
