Von den vielen von mir angeschriebenen Professoren hatten nur wenige die Courage und haben sich die Mühe gemacht, überhaupt zu antworten. Über die Zuschriften habe ich mich sehr gefreut, ich möchte mich ausdrücklich dafür bedanken.
Aber, meine Herren Professoren: Über die Arroganz, mit der mich die meisten von Ihnen behandelt haben, habe ich mich sehr gewundert und geärgert. Bin ich denn ein Student im 1. Semester? Mein Geburtsjahr stand doch auf der Rückseite meiner Studie!
1968 habe ich mein Theologiestudium begonnen und seitdem nicht aufgehört, die Probleme der Jesus- und der Bibelforschung zu durchdenken. Einige von Ihnen waren damals noch nicht einmal geboren! In meiner Bibel steht auch etwas von Respekt vor dem Alter, in Ihrer nicht?
Viele von Ihnen haben mir Literaturtipps gegeben wie einem Anfänger. Haben Sie denn mein Literaturverzeichnis nicht gelesen?
Fast alle haben bemängelt, ich hätte meine Thesen nicht ausreichend begründet. Aber niemand hat sich die Zeit genommen, die Begründungen in meinen bisherigen Veröffentlichungen nachzulesen. Ist das mein Fehler? Kann man so argumentieren?
