- Für mich ist es wichtig, den Menschen Jesus,
der vor 2000 Jahren lebte, wiederzufinden. Dazu brauche ich möglichst viele, möglichst verschiedene Quellen. Deshalb habe ich Josephus ausgewertet und im Alten Testament nach Berichten gesucht, die Entsprechungen in den Evangelien haben, zum Beispiel Wundergeschichten des Propheten Elia.
2. Für mich besteht das Genie Jesu nicht darin, dass er alles selbst erfunden hat. Deshalb frage ich nach Parallelen von Jesu Botschaft in der heidnischen Umwelt und nach Einflüssen der Umwelt auf sein Denken.
